Score! Just got permission to shoot whenever & whatever I want on a nearby undeveloped 64 acres. Looking forward to doing some long-range shooting & pest control.

Drove the perimeter then did a little scouting with my trusty friend

Very nice Michael! Look out for any mesquite tree branches on the ground....the thorns will go right thru a tire. Didn't see any mesquite trees in your pics so might not even have any on the place. Finding places like this are golden in Texas, most places are leased or owners don't want the responsibility of having someone on their property. Leave it better than you found it and you will probably always be welcome. Congrats! Enjoy!

Yup, moved the family to Texas at the end of 2016. Living in the "Hill Country" just south of Austin.
