That’s cool and all. I just wish it had a nice chequering on the stock…
If bbs count, then shotguns loaded with birdshot have an infinite RPM, if you fire just once.

so how does this fit into real life ? I think the interesting part is the loading of ammo at that speed

I made sort of the same as a kid, though low pressure.
Using small steel BBs from a drum meant to tumble steel in to de burr it.
using:
Regular air gun like you will find in any factory / shop, put a little piece of rubber hose on the nozzle of it, put a piece of tube ( barrel ) in the other end of the rubber hose.
In the middle a #2 tube going into the rubber hose, fill this with steel BBs, depress air gun to get air flow going, tilt "magazine " back a little so they would fall / get sucked out by the air stream, and presto i could make sparks fly on the oil soaked factory floor in my first fulltime job.
The 30 or so BBs in the magazine was gone in like " snap finger "
PS. A couple of windows was lost in the process.
I can assure you, if i was a house owner, i would build something like that again, but higher power / bigger caliber, and then i would put it on a PTZ gimbal with a CCTV camera to aim it, and pout it all on a mast on my property, to make sure unwelcome people will have a very very bad time at my place.

That is impressive. BB's are an easy ammo. Lead balls would be better but BB's are good enough. That is a lot of ricochets!
