HI today I have a bit of time so I decided to work on my edgun . I have been working with a few types of new slugs and I needed some different twist rates for them so today I am starting to machine some barrel blanks and thread and crown and cut in a lead for Breech . and do some polishing .I also am making a few custom transfer ports for the slugs .
I am excited to try these with some new slugs , I needed a bit faster twist rate and also unchoked barrels ,One barrel the fattest one is a .30 caliber poly barrel to try I have not tried one in a R5 yet . the other is a .25 cal unchoked and the other is a .22 caliber unchoked . I have had great luck with them in my other slug guns
I wanted to add this , do you see the small brass round stock I am using for for transfer ports ? . I wanted to share that I made this round stock from a old hexagon 2 inch in diameter brass drift my dad gave me many years ago when I started working on trucks . I used to bang out king pins with it . I also bought some stock but I decided to use this piece cause it was my dds and he loved shooting as much as me . So when I grab this Edgun . dad will always be with me
