Woodpigeon, testing the camera mount

I bought a rack type camera mount a little while back and to make it useable I had to use epoxy 2 pack glue on a couple of bits to get it set rock solid, and it fits really well now. Camera is the LUMIX Selfie, really good cheap camera with a rear tilting screen to allow me to see the image clearer than with a fixed rear screen on steep angles.

With spring well well underway the trees are getting the blossom and fresh leaf buds, the Cherry tree in the garden is getting hammered by the Woodpigeon. Working from home today I took 20 minutes out to play around with the camera set up prior to what I hope will be a session over the weekend with the camera followed by the night vision

i had had to account for a little swirly wind in the Garden but little passing round up in the tree
a second or less after the pellet strike you can hear the bird hit the plastic shed roofing as he falls to the ground
