Wildcat Today

You guys kept bragging on the Wildcat, so I was getting jealous. Showed up today, I got it in .22, put the Athlon Talos 3-12 on it, the scope seems to fit it better than the larger more powerful scopes I have been leaning to lately. My first impression is I am going to like it. Not sure my Colibri Hummingbird is going to be happy.

What mag holders are those?

Very nice. I put the little Leapers 4 x 16 on mine. Don't have it in front of me but it's the one where the front isn't cut straight rather at an angle, very cool looking scope and the glass is very good. Like you I felt the Wildcat should have a smaller and lighter scope to complement the light weight of the rifle. I noticed you don't have an LCD on yours. In the plans or are you located on several acres?

EDIT: My Cricket isn't happy either because it's been in my safe ever since I received my Wildcat. Cricket is actually slightly more accurate (might be me) but the lighter Wildcat is so enjoyable to carry around and shoot, it's the one I go to. Where I live (about 1.25 acres) my Wildcat was simply too loud so I went with the FX stackable LCD. It adds apsolutly no weight But does add some length. Now it's very quiet.

Yeah. Come clean. I just lost a mag today with the WC buttstock mag holder. Second time now.

Holders look similar - but not the same - as the ones available from air-fective tuning over here in the UK.

Yes @ MarkUK, the mag holders are Air-fective. , seen them on youtube. Mine were a little tight had to remove a tiny bit of material now they fit nicely. No LDC , pretty quiet the way it is, but may get some stackable ones later.

Plastic mag holder. I just touched mag with the drill bit, dimpled it, then painted it orange on the side & back so it is easy for me to see. I figure the paint will stay on a while in that dimple.
