Wich scope have better optics Athlon Midas or Hawke Frontier?

Well I have the Midas 15x and after looking up specs in that Hawke model I would say the Midas 27x would be the winner. Optic glass in Midas line up is ED.

i have a frontier and a sidewinder. not built the same. image quality difference is huge.

I don't have the Midas but The Frontier has an amazing glass and the TMX reticle is pretty cool too!

I have the Midas 4,5 - 27 x 50, but with the christmas three reticle. Mounted on a FX Bobcat .25.
Here is what I experienced this weekend from my cabin terrace:
3 shots 103 meter. The first shot was a miss, but the impact in the dust gave me the exact point of aim, using the marks in the reticle. So, next shot at the beer can bottom. Ok, six o'clock but happy with that. And then, the red plastic cork was my next target. Well the picture tells it......
And yes - there have to be som luck involved, so I didn't go for the fourth shot and risk devaluating the high score.
The scope magnification used was 20, and at 103 m it was no problem locating the poi in the beer can through the glass. Crisp and clear. But the cork flew into the grass, and I had to walk down range to locate it. Not wrong to say......... it made my day!

i dont have a midas but the frontier is exceptional. love it. definitely the best airgun scope i have. i have primary arms = good. sidewinder = decent. frontier = great glass. nightforce = equally great. and leupold = awesome glass. but leupold and nightforce doesnt parallax down to 10yds. they are on my powder burners.

I sent the Hawke Sport Optics Frontier 30 Side Focus 2.5-15x50 TMX Scope back.
I didn't like the fine hard to see reticle, and the range dots seemed useless because they were nearly invisible except under the right lighting conditions. The clincher was no 12X marked.
My bad for thinking this would be a good HFT Scope.
