Just received an email from PA that my .22 Avenger has shipped. Ordered it on 7/8. Fedex shows delivery on Monday.

Received notification today my .25 has shipped and due 7/26- the .22 also shipped but not due till 7/27. Cant wait. Hope someone comes out with a sweet wood stock for these. I will be in for 2.

Barrel crowns have a significant affect on the stability of the projectile as it exits the barrel. A good single hole group for an airgun at 50 yards, is what is expected from a precision rifle at 200-400 yards. For precision rifles, the crown can make the difference between a sub1" group, and a 4inch group. Every once in a while there will be an exception to the rule, but for the most part a proper crown at 11°-12° will be the most accurate. The effect of The effect the crown has on accuracy is usually more pronounced the faster the projectile is traveling, which may be the reason crowns are not as important on airguns. (I'm a powder burner guy before an airgun guy, so the exact science of subsonic ballistic stability is a bit beyond my knowledge)

I've been going round and round trying to decide what I should get for my first PCP. The Avenger has me pretty excited! I'm assuming aftermarket upgrades will be hitting the market soon?

What is the most important to adjust to achieve the highest shot count or do you need to balance adjustments. I thought just low reg and hammer settings, primarily reg pressure?

Has anyone had any luck finding the sling mounting hardware to fit the sling holes in the stock? They are drilled far back from the edge... standard Unlcle Mike type hardware is not deep enough to reach the hole.
