Do pp with fees. If they ask for family and friends. Do not do it. You will lose your money. Idk but 90% of ppl here will ask for ff which i do not do and advice anyone to do. Its like giving away free money. If you get scam with ff, pp will not help. Always go with pp fees. If you get scam, report to pp and they will make it right.

Sounds like a a scam. Why would anyone ask the seller to contact a potential buyer? If this friend is in deed looking for your item, Samantha George should give them the link.

 Usually when a person messages and tells you to contact somebody else, it is usually a scam. That’s how they work.

Nothing wrong with PayPal f&f. Just use your head deal with those with good reputation on here and those that have good feedback on here , and definitely not someone that’s just joined yesterday , That’s why feedback is important on here but I’ve seen and heard others say. Some people will not leave feedback good or bad. Feedback means a lot Use it

I posted a WTB ad here for dreamline stock. Have received 2 messages that read " I have a dreamline stock for sell."

That is all and it is from member accounts who were created in the same day as message received. Each account had zero posts in AGN.

The scammers are definitely lurking.

Ok , here’s one way to look at it . A member was looking for something but was reluctant to post on other forums so I did it for him. Also when I see a WTB posting here I try to reach out to tell them the item is available on other forums. Does that make me a scammer? I am just trying to help .

No it doesn't I have done the same thing helped a friend try to sell his item on here or let him know about a airgun for sell and then if he can't contact the person I'll send them a PM but the way this was done I couldn't find any info on the forums about them.

I agree with you on PP F&F I've bought alot of items that way but I always check a persons feedback and I place all my ads F&F or add 3.5% for fees if they feel my feedback isn't good enough or they just want to be safer.

Racafracin long eared galoots!! hate those scammers, being new to the forum, they make it tough to try buy sell or trade on here... I have some items I would like to sell, or trade, and have seen some I would buy. just don't for now. I have posted on some local gun sites , scammers be damned !!!

I posted items FS on here and have had members PM that someone posted my exact same ad and pictures on another airgun classified forum. This has happened 3 times. It’s really sad that these dirt bags will stoop so low and rip people off. Buyers and sellers beware in this day an age. 50 years ago we would have given these slime balls a “blanket party” out behind the barn.

Hi All,

Been hit hard by the scammers. Even photo shopping my name into existing photos. No damage as of yet. Read their posts. Read their feedback. Talk to them on the phone. Get a physical address and work google fu on that. At least make the scammers work for it. Or use normal PP.

I just bought two Airforce guns from this forum and both folks had been members for a while, had pics of there guns and knew about them. Have not received them yet but I have tracking #'s and UPS has sent them.

I'm pretty cautious about who i deal with.
