I used to really like the GE, but agree that I do not like it as much after the price increases the past several years. When you could get them for max of $1100, they were one of the best deals going.

It has its place, and there are many factors that can affect the decision, like weight, so it isn’t a bad deal. Luckily, you shouldn’t have to pay $2k either, regardless of MAP. If you were going to pay that, I would get the used Kahles 10-50 at a max of $2300. Agree on that!! To my eyes, amazing scope. My favorite.

One other thing that is SUPER important!!! Do you even like the GE reticle choices? They may or not fit your needs. That is the biggest reason I sold mine.

I don’t like the SCR, because I like markings. The ECR can be ok depending on your needs. I personally didn’t like the center dot without much around it and nothing on the hold under vertical.
