Picked it up Where? at a big box store if so return it for another if so save on shipping it.

I will say this (Not saying you did this just a word of caution)
Never dry fire the saber doing so will result in that exact situation the barrel will whip around in the shroud and it is not covered in the warranty

Definitely wasn’t dry fired on our end. This was how it looked as it came out of the box with a near empty air reservoir.

Does the shroud just unscrew? Possibly just not properly seated. May be a simple unscrew the shroud remove the barrel and reinstall.

Were it me, I would slide a cleaning rod down the barrel and bend it back to where it belongs. It should not be too difficult. Else I would remove the shroud and bend the barrel either way werqs for me. That is how I adjusted the aluminum barrel on the arrowgun that I built to shoot on target out to 50 yards.

Got the replacement Airsaber yesterday and it’s off centered as well. Granted, not as bad as the first, but still off. It’s in the opposite direction, so I’m sticking with either poor design/material or quality control. Due to the fact that this is a gift for someone who REALLY wants it, it’s going into the shop today to be heated and rolled on a granite surface plate then reassembled. I’m very curious to see what material and hardness the “barrel” is. I’ll post pics and specs before and after if anyone is interested.

Makes one wonder is it the barrel thats off center or the shroud. Looks like the shroud would be easier to address and more likey off due to poor quality control. Maybe the assembly tech's thumb got sore from holding the shroud centered while tightening the front mounting ring. Hmmm.....
I also think the barrel is considered free floating and the force of the air going through the barrel causes it to steighten out.
I could be wrong but thats just my take on it all. Good luck with it.

After owning a couple Umarex airguns that all arrived unshootable until “tuned” I’m not surprised. I went with the Benjamin Pioneer Airbow.

Umarex Airsaber disappoints me also. I have had one ordered for my Dad from Pryamyd Air since March 11 and finally received it this past Sat. I let my Dad open it and I told him to check the barrel, since I read this post awhile back. Yelp, bent at 2-3:00. I am so sick of dealing with JUNK! This will be the 2nd air rifle returned for stupid quality control issues. Plus it has been back ordered for a over a month!

This is an easy fix I have had to straiten mine and a couple that some friends bought.
All you have to do is loosen the front brace that holds the shroud to the presser tub and move the
shroud until you have the arrow tube centered then tighten the brace.

Don't be discouraged the Airsaber is a grate hunting and target gun. The shroud sometimes gets
out of alignment but is an easy fix.

You can fix this in moments.
Undo the screw on that connector between the tank and the shroud and twist the shaft into position.
Tighten the screw and adjust your scope.

My first one came off center and I sent it back, made them open the box and check the replacement one before they shipped it.
2nd one looked perfect, however when shooting it I refilled after every shot and it would put arrow in previous hole. ( I removed arrow before each shot after I destroyed one with the second shot)
Now for the problem, after it was sighted in I filled it with air and the first shot was dead on. After the first shot each successive shot would impact several inches lower than the last.
After the first shot I would have to aim like it was 10 yards further for the 2nd shot and 20 yards further for the 3rd shot.
Maybe I just got a bad one? I returned it the next day and bought a good crossbow.

Couple weeks ago I stayed home to get the FedEx delivered AirSaber from Pyramyd. Umarex shipped this unit with a precisely designed plug inserted at the end of the shroud and holding the inner tube in dead center. It is labelled to be used during transport. The picatinny rail on the top of the receiver is a little too narrow for the Umarex included mounts for the Axeon scope. That is disappointing.
Using an artillery hold, this arrow rifle seems pretty accurate given its nature.
Caution: I experimented. This unit will discharge if the trigger is pulled while the bolt is in the open position, or the bolt is not fully rotated closed and locked. Since the seal is not closed the arrow did not travel at as high a velocity. Fortunately my sandbags stopped the arrow without getting damaged.
I also twisted the tube and was able to tighten it firmly.
Still it has been interesting and fun to try different broadheads and learn the nature of this unregulated arrow launcher. Consider getting a Hamskea AroJac to get the arrows out of a foam target like the Rinehart Rhino Block. More to come in a different thread.

My compressor easily fills my other PCP rifles, but stalls out trying to fill my Umarex Air Saber. The rifle's pressure gauge won't move past zero. Is there something I need to do to the gun before attempting to fill it? Thanks!
