Transferport dual hole HUMA

I just got TP Huma from Holland. Comparing it with the TP FX I have seen many differences in size. A question to all TP HUMA owners, you could kindly tell me if it is normal that there are such obvious differences. Ahhhh ... Trying to push a pellet with a small screwdriver, in the TP FX, the domed enters well, while in the TP HUMA it is a bit difficult to pass.

I change it a week ago in .25 and have some resistance pushing pellets and slugs in the barel, not that they dont go, but i need to push little bit more. In original is all easy flowing. But i havent noticed that would that affect on shooting.

The hole of the TP HUMA is 2 tenths narrower than the original one, this makes the domed flow with difficulty. Given the cost of the item, I'm absolutely not satisfied.

A few hours ago I wrote an email to HUMA to ask for clarification, I hope they will answer me.

Hi all,Ive also ordered These dual ports in 0.22 and 0.30. However, Im not able to screw out this brass part from the original FX Barrel. The original brass part is sitting like welded in the Barrel … impossible to screw out .. Is it secured with Loctite ?

Yes the promise was to get me replaced that dual port but unfortunately shipping to Canada was down for the entire April on non essential items. I lapped the hole to 0.2mm larger with carbide powder and I am using the brass piece right now, when the shipping starts again Huma will send me the new piece.

Yes, you need to heat up the loctite little bit. You can find several YT videos showing how, here is one

What type of loctite is used for assembly: medium or strong?

Yesterday I assembled (w/o Loctite, hope will work …) opened the probe and adjusted to the dual transferport. Then I started to shoot with 2 different chronys and I measured THE SAME FPS LIKE BEFORE.... ???

Have you enlarged the hole of your pellet pusher or have you built a pellet pusher with pin?

It seems that the one with PIN gives excellent performances. Have you changed or enlarged the hole of the VS from 5.5 mm to 6.30 mm?

With this replacement, you optimize your entire air path.

Yes, that piece. I purchased an original VS and had it enlarged to 6.25 mm, but I have not yet replaced it. From what you read in the forum, the top to get ft / s is: widen the VS, widen the hole of the brass TP (better enlarge the original TP than buy a TP Huma and make a pellet push with pin).

First week I was swapping the dual port and stock port several times to see a difference, heating up the brass piece and loctite it back again. Then somebody sad here @ AGN don't put a loctite until you finished the tune. So I have it now second month already without any loctite only finger tight, nothing wrong with that, cannot go anywhere....
