Reminds me of a true story:

I was in N.Y. years ago for the holidays and since I am a rare fruit tree enthusiast I went to a "tropical" nursery. At a small orange tree I looked at the labels and chuckled, the owner came over and said that he saw nothing funny on the labels. I said it was hilarious! (back then the Florida dept of AG here was forcing owners to register their new citrus trees for inspection purposes to protect the citrus industry)

Anyway, I told him in Florida we had to register our citrus trees but not our guns, here in N.Y. you had to register your guns but not citrus trees

Anyway... I had no idea local and state governments has gone this far.

FYI: In Michigan airguns are not considered firearms and are legal. I have purchased a number of airguns online and received them no problem. And I recently sold my Hatsan Hercules 30 cal on ebay.

Yup! My father gave up after they rolled through our yards and cut every single citrus tree we had. Not many, two or three, but they did it often enough that killed his spirit. Mom has mango & avocado now.

I don't believe you can even own a sling shot in Chicago.

I could be content with a FWB 300s or Crosman Challenger 2000psi fill or a Crosman 1701P with AR carbine stock and TKO either Crosmans with slightly enlarged transfer ports or a Maximus or Hatsan Flash backed the power down under 2000psi fill.
