Never hunt from inside your house, I saw this squirrel eating bird seed on the ground and I was shooting off my pool table and out the door and between the porch rails and I don’t see the door knob

Not two of my worse shots but two pretty stupid ones. Raccoon coming towards house + bullpup = new window sitting in basement waiting for install when homeowner finally grows up and quits shooting his toys out of windows.

About 15yrs ago me and my friends were shooting a gamo whisper that was modded with a nitro gas ram in his basement at some targets and a wooden backstop. Well, with enough shots, it doesn't much matter how thick the wood is. Several shots made it thru and went downrange about 50yrds to his neighbors house that had vinyl siding

In my teens in the 80's, lined up with my pump air rifle on a black bird setting on a rail road tie fence post. Took the shot, bird flies off and in the background I see the rear window of my dad's 1954 Bel Air go to near white. Never seen a windshield in so many little pieces and that is something dad is going to notice in less than a second. The worst shot and that feeling of oh .... then, having to tell dad. Sick and scared feeling mix that one never forgets.

I put one through the vinyl window frame. Remember kids, never shoot with the gun entirely inside the house without double checking your firing line.

Caldwell does not sell the readout chip . and china only sell the chip in the 1k piece amount .

standing behind him was a 80lb button buck youngster.
i still to this day feel bad about that one

A few months into my first BB gun (at age 10 IIRC) I pinned a target to a dart board in my father's basement. I quickly learned not to shoot at dart boards... the first shot bounced back and hit me in the thigh, leaving a pretty good welt. At least I didn't shoot my eye out.

As a youth every shot taken at a starling with my crosman pump with no concept of holdover. I believed it was a laser. The starlings were safe, the grass 15 yards in front of them, not so much. They got it in the barn though!

Adding to the stories of being inside and shooting outside...

Was shooting at a target and thought I'd extend my range to try to hit the same target farther away by going inside leaving the door open. Think it was maybe 80 yards. Well... line of sight and line of muzzle aren't always gonna line up especially if I'm trying to focus on holdover markings not the muzzle!

I shot and the cinder block pieces exploded and flung across the room.

Luckily nothing else happened. Wife doesn't know

I wasn't inside shooting out, but I was using the corner of the house to stabilize myself. Put my eye to the scope, found my target and promptly put a pellet into the corner of the chimney 8" in front of me. Target never moved, so I did it again. And took a small chunk of brick off the corner.
Still haven't figured out how that chimney jumped in the way so fast.

yes it went down as the big one did.
too small and too young. would have made a fine buck in 2-3 years.
