"Mick-VA"I enjoyed the video. He did say he had it tuned @ 690 fps for Kings whereas most people who own the .25 cal have been setting it to 750 fps for 31 fpe. Either way - it was quite windy which at those speeds would significantly affect trajectory. I don't own a .25 barrel yet but I do intend to get one in the longer 350mm version.
Mine is a gen 1 .22 topped off with Hawke 2-7x32 with AMX reticle tuned at 751fps for JSB 18gr for about 22.5 fpe. It shoots very well and I like it very much for its intended use. I have gotten used to the creepy trigger but would like to improve that someday. It is accurate enough to confidently take squirrels or birds at 80 yards still delivering 13.6 fpe at impact.
He did opine that it was backyard friendly which I would not agree with unless you have very friendly neighbors. Leishy is not loud per say, but it is very noticeable with a low frequency pop like an aired up little paper bag being popped. It does not sound menacing at all but anyone outdoors within earshot will 100% know something just happened. With its low frequency signature, it does not sound like any other pcp in my collection.
