Interested in the synthetic streamline. Have read a few reviews about the stock being very weak and flimsy. Anyone that owns one could you verify if this is true and would it lead you to consider the other stock options. $1000 is already steep and want to keep the price down if I can.

Cahil_2 that is a nice boat in your pic. I have an R83 with 175 opti. Is yours a R81. Does AOA sell them broken.

I have the synthetic streamline in .25. I have written about this in past posts, to summarize, it is not a bad thing. If you were to pick up the gun, simply by grabbing the forearm near the end of stock, you might feel a little "FLEX". The airtube is made to "float" in the stock and this is what you are feeling. Personally for me it is not a problem. I make it a point to pick up the gun with two hands and when I do, I don't notice any flex. While shooting, not an issue. I do rest it on a range bag and I don't notice any issues. I do not have a bipod mounted but I would not hesitate to mount one. You have to keep in mind, these guns are so nice that you have to really look to find something to "ding" them on. Everything about this gun is sweet. I would buy it again, without hesitation. Hope this helps.

I have a 22 synthetic. I don't baby it. It sees regular Dairy farm pest control and hunting.
I rest it on anything that's convenient, metal gates, fence posts, barbed wire, trees, etc. I have a picatinny rail section mounted after I drilled two holes, for a light.
I haven't had any problems with mine.

I have a synthetic stock on my bobcat....I wouldn't use it as a baseball bat but it still looks great after 4yrs of "normal" use. I wouldn't be afraid to buy another.

I’ve got a 25 cal streamline. Love the stock. Haven’t had any issues with it getting dinged or dented. I will be adding a picatiny rail to the front and a sling stud to the rear.

Droptine26... Through bolting those parts is the best way to fasten the parts you want to add but i imagine you knew that.

That is my intention on the rail. The rear sling stud is a little trickier. I was thinking of using the wood screw in stud, and putting epoxy on the thread as I screw it in.
