You can have your NFL on Sunday mornings, here in NorCal, we celebrate the 3rd Sunday of the month by shooting a 62 target match. Plenty of time to watch the 9ers after teardown ( we've a good clubhouse with big screen tv's and cold beer), so there are no excuses for not putting lead on steel.
Today's match had some deceptive winds, but not unsurmountable - Chris only missed three and one of those was on the off hand lane.
I took the opportunity to shoot a hunting rig I've fallen in love with, a taipan mutant shorty with a 12x reflex sight, dialed back to 20 ft/lbs. It did remarkable well and only had one "what the heck happened there" moment. Probably a bad pellet.
Our local international WFTF shooter, Lonnie was back from Africa and gifted everyone a souvenir cloisonne from the African Worlds. Great to see him back!
