Very recently some one posted a similar photo showing the exact same mistake. I would e-mail that photo to Crosman but they are probably aware of it already.

..yeah, they pointed out that the 400 pack is the piranha packaging .. i want to know whats in the tin lol ... open one ...

I did not purchase them having realized the huge error, but if the same person responsible for the packaging was also responsible for sorting the pellets, oh dear! There are all kinds of wrongs with the merchandise, which presumably are: (1) .177 Hollowpoints in (2) .22 Hollowpoint packaging, which (3) has the Piranha pellet description. Can you imagine if a similar error had occurred with a 22 rifle packaged in a .177 box that a customer bought, took home and loaded its magazine only to be darned perplexed why when firing a shot the pellets just keep falling out of the muzzle ... despite the “1500 FPS” claim on the box? LOLOLOLOL!!!

Crosman did this before to a lesser degree with the old brown box Premiers. I beleive the .22's were shipped in a brown box that said .20 caliber , or visa versa. I have a few boxes with this printing error squirreled away somewhere.

I have found pee wee pellets and.22s mixed in with .177s in Crosman pellets. Crap happens. I never thought much about it. Several years ago JSB had a BAD batch of 10.3 gr. .177 pellets. A friend and I thought all of our guns went to crap.
