Snowpeak Snowpeak p35 upgrade

Someone who knows what's going wrong, this is the first time I've tested my snowpeak m25 with the FX Chronograph. The figures seem very strange 🧐 to me.

It looks like I've found the problem. The regulator was just loose in the air tube and full of iron shavings and green gunk.
I bought the rifle new on January 22, 2024 from Krale.
I have now ordered a new Huma air regulator today. Look at the pictures

Indeed never buy anything there again at krale it's not the first time
It being Snowpeak, it's not so surprising. I would not blame all on Krale. I took my P35 fully apart after I received it and deburred and cleaned everything. There were residue from machining and so. But not that much as Yours.
SPA/Artemis/Snowpeak guns in general need some tlc before usage.

Yes i now but this is to much, it's not because it's cheap i should be bothered with this poop

Unfortunately Krale can’t open every rifle they receive. I’d say that’s 100% a QC issue at Snowpeak.
My P35 is rock solid. I opened the air tube to fix a small leak from the fill port, I think it was just a little dirt from me. The tube was dry and clean.
My two PP700SA also were clean inside.
My Notos however had a thick coating of oil inside the air tube.

Anyhow, when you sell things, you always make sure that the things you have sold are delivered to your customer in perfect condition, otherwise you have to close your shop and do something else. I am self-employed myself and my first priority is my customer.

I'd only fault the company if they don't make it right once the item is inspected by the purchaser.

I don't know if Krale would functionally test a rifle if you asked and maybe paid a small fee or something. But I don't think they do anything other than box and ship the guns. They are typically cheaper than other suppliers even with shipping from Europe so I guess we aren't paying for more service. But I would still be disappointed in a gun that looked like that. I would call them and see if they would offer some compensation for that. I get a lot better response to phone calls than to emails.

I bought my 3 P35s from them because they were the only option. They shipped quickly but when the second two I bought got stuck in customs I kind of had to drag some help out of them. They basically said they got them shipped and it was now UPS's job to get them to me. UPS said Krale did not put the shipping invoice on the box. Krale said they did and would not send another to UPS but did send me one. I sent it to UPS and the issue was fixed. Not a big deal but not the best service IMHO. I don't know how long they would have remained stuck if I hadn't started making calls.

Hopefully you can clean up the regulator and have a good functioning gun. I made adjustments on my P35s to the trigger and the hammer spring but they were all functional as received. I polished the crown on them too but I recently received a new barrel for my P35-25 and shot it before and after polishing the crown and it didn't seem to make any difference. I bought the barrel when it was shooting poorly before a major retune where I added a power plenum. The original barrel shoots a little better than the new one. Took most of a year to get it too (from Krale).

Overall my view of Krale is that they are OK but basically a no-frills type retailer.

Today finally put the Huma-air regulator in my snowpeak m25 7.62

Looks a lot better than before with the broken Chinese regulator.

This was the first test with the Huma-air regulator it still has to set itself.

I thought the barrel on my P35-25 was bad and ordered a replacement from SPA through Krale. Before I got the new barrel I put on a much bigger plenum from South Africa and the accuracy of my old barrel got a lot better. I shot a 155 on the 30 yard challenge before and then a 177 after. That was with a 14 power scope. I switched to a 32 power scope and shot a 194. Later I got the new barrel and tested it. It might get better with more usage but right now the old barrel works better - is more accurate.

I have one P35, my P35-22, that I consider to be extremely accurate. I've shot a 200 with it but mainly it gives me 190+ targets. My others mainly give me 180s with some lower 190s targets. I'm going to work on sorting pellets to see if I can improve this some. But my scores with all these guns went up significantly last year when I got better at bench rest shooting and learned more about what works. I don't think SPA barrels are great but I also don't think they are bad, at least the 4 I have are not. But it took a major retune on the 25 caliber P35 to get it shooting well. I didn't see 190+ scores until I improved. Even now I shoot some 180s with my best gun when either something is wrong with the setup or with me. An awful lot of things have to be right to get a gun shooting it's best.

Please keep me updated my accuracy is terrible im putting it down to the barrel i have tryed everything else. Another scope, moderator off, single leading, cleaned barrel, checks. Everything my last option is barrel
I don't know how much it would cost you to do what I did, I made the same principle of replacing the liners as the FX has, but in dimensions that correspond to the P35. A friend has a lathe so he made all the parts for me, I don't know how much it would cost you if you pay to someone to make all components for liner. maybe there is another way, but I made the same principle as FX.
I just put everything together, I haven't adjusted the regulator and the hammer yet, and I got 295ms(967fps) with jsb 1,645g(25.38gr), I only shot a couple of shoots at 40m, and the accuracy is increased compared to the factory barrel(but I was satisfied with my factory barrel). When I set it properly, I'll post pictures of the targets.

counter clockwise increases the regulator pressure, clockwise lowers it. If you are used to nuts and bolts like I am you want to turn the screwdriver like you are loosening a screw to go up in regulator pressure. I've tested a wide range of regulator settings in my P35-177 to see if it affected accuracy and my conclusion is it doesn't seem to. I went back to a setting about where it came to me. That gives me 875-900 on it's preferred H&N Baracuda Match pellets. Accuracy I call good but not excellant. My best 30 yard challenge score with it is a 194. I haven't tried H&N Baracuda FT pellets in it yet, however. But it is easily squirrels head accurate at over 30 yards. JSB 10.3 grain are pretty accurate too. I had a tin of Crosmans that shot well but the next two shot quite poorly. I traced it to wildly inconsistent head diameter. Some report good accuracy with JSB knockout slugs but mine throws them out wildly. They must not be engaging the rifling. It's a nice shooter with the H&N Baracudas, however.
