Hi All
Since I've been absent for some time now I thought I would post an update for those wondering. I'm slowing down on air gun shooting and focusing on trap shooting primarily now. Several things have left a bad taste in my mouth with airgun shooting of late that I do not experience in trap shooting, for example scoring is very binary in trap, you broke the target or you didn't not a lot of questions. I tend to break even or better in trap, aka it's paying for itself more or less, something that airgun shooting will never do.
I've ordered a custom rifle that I will get after my Thomas sells. I'm going to a "one gun that will do it all" position. I will continue to partake in BR and silhouette competitions when they don't overlap with my trap events. I enjoy shooting air guns and find it VERY challenging and a lot of fun.
I've met some wonderful people in airguns and some grand a-holes too. More nice people than jerks. But all it takes is on a-hole to ruin a good day shooting.
