Slow Motion pellets

OK, if you follow the "Slow Mo Guys" on Youtube, you know they are professional special effects guys with really fancy cameras. This video shows pellets and water balloons, even one pellet bouncing off a balloon.

Some good science and a bit of general stupidity at the end (lunging, unstable shooting type stupidity)

Found another one, this time a Coke can. Must be a 6 fp pistol for the single can as the pellet didn't pass through the can.

They are Brits that sometime post from home, but work in Texas half of their lives. Some of the posts come from the US.

Not sure what 'Science' there was but some good fun.

Let's speculate on the difference between Water filled balloons & Air filled balloons - I'm guessing the mass of the water was a critical factor there.

The mass of the water would definitely be a factor in the penetration depth. Try shooting through two gallon jugs of water (plastic jugs of course) and chances are a .177 won't penetrate the second jug completely. If the jugs were filled with air, a pellet will go through many jugs.

These guys used his[smarter every day] equipment to film the segment I was talking about. They were invited to use that pool setup the same day he shot the AK.

Which I must say is a bit surprising as the Brits take Gun Safety all that much more seriously than us Yanks.

I was also referring to the diving and such where the gun is a bit out of control and they risked driving the muzzle into the dirt. Geniuses with high speed cameras, somewhat dim on the gun safety.

I was a bit surprised that they didn't mention that it was an airgun (air pistol) right at the start because following a mass shooting event in 1996 (I think) all powder burning pistols were banned for public ownership here in the UK.

The clip is most definitely "unsuitable for children"

Let's see, not suitable for children? Maybe it could be used to point out the stupidity of the gun handling and all the safety violations. Make a good example of how never to handle a firearm, whether a powder burner or air pistol. It's all the same safety rules.
