Should I get a 22. disco or a 22. marauder?

Well how are you filling it? What's your budget? If you can afford a tank or don't mind more work pumping, if you don't mind a bulkier, heavier gun then go with the Marauder. But if your funds are more constrained and you'd like a lighter, slimmer gun and don't mind a single shot then go with the Disco.

If you can afford it then get the maurader the upgrade in accuracy and multi shot capability make it my choice if you have the funds. The marauder is also far quieter even when you get the TKO muzzle break for the discovery.

I was in the same boat as you when I started, and ended up getting the marauder because of the quiet muzzle report, adjustable cheek piece, and a magazine.

I think you will end up buying both if you go with the disco so I think you will save money by buying the marauder. I recently made the transition to the pcp world and I have to say I am very impressed with the marauder.

Marauder if budget allows, Discovery with pump if not...either get the job done with a low budget in mind. Bear in mind how you're going to fill it. A scuba tank will fill a Marauder several times before the tank doesn't have enough pressure for a 3000psi fill. That same tank will fill a Disco to full pressure about twice as many times. I don't own a pump, but many complain that pumping the MRod is a chore and a half. Keep your eyes peeled for refurbished guns. There is often significant savings in buying refurbished. For my part, I wish I'd have bought the Disco first. I started with the MRod, and then bought a Disco when my state made the MRod effectively illegal to possess. Had I bought the Disco first, I'd have spent less $, and when I was ready to upgrade I would have stepped up to a much nicer PCP than the Marauder (Air Arms, Edgun, Cricket, Hatsan, etc...).

I am 15 so my funds are limited. I do not mind pumping the disco or the marad. But I have heard quit a few bad things about the marad gen 1 and i have heard quit a few good things about them. So please help and thanks for the comments. Keep um coming.
