Good post!! Every time I read about the mysterious POI shift that gets talked about so much, I always wonder if it is simply just the wind? Sure doesn't take much wind to move pellets around.

I ocasionally shoot at a range up in the mountains at about 7500 ft and I always have to adjust for elevation.

Good write up AZ! I have a question about elevation and velocity though. I have a highly modified crosman 1322 with a discovery barrel and FT piston and valve. I happen to know somebody on the east coast with the same gun and setup as mine. He uses less pumps and achieves higher velocities than me, why is this?

I asked about humidity and temp changes a while back and no one replied. Thanks.
Temp may affect the cross hairs in th escope too, due to expanding/contracting metals...not sure if it could be all that much though....just a thought
