I wonder who decided to name it with a bunch of numbers and letters that is very long. It just confuses consumers.
Doesn't the end of any stick on the ground do the same thing as their ball and socket? The whole package is just plain silly. I've seen and made homemade shooting sticks that perform just as well.

Just for the heck of it I looked at the shooting stick on Amazon and see that there are quite a few of them out there similar to the one I found some are carbon fiber to save weight and other are a bit bigger. So if you like this idea there are plenty to choose from. They all seem to use the standard 1/4” thread to connect to the head so you can probably use just about and mount you want. I currently have a 3 leg bogpod that can be converted to a 1 or 2 leg gun support I’m going to check to see if it’s possible to add that little 3 leg foldable base to what I have I’ll definitely check next time I go to my hunting lodge (fancy word for my basement).

Yeah that "foot" is just extra weight, and one more thing to fidget with. The pivoting head is kinda lame too.
