Can someone help me out with some info on what magnification of scope I need to be able to clearly see a pop can at ,at least 125 yards and possibly hit it but that's up to . I'm an archery guy and don't know diddly about scopes except they magnify so u can see what your shooting at . THX

a 3-12X scope will be good enough for shooting at this distance. Further distances a 4-16 scope would work better. A lot depends on the accuracy of the gun and the caliber of the pellet you are using. Longer distances shooting Airguns you need at least a .25 or a .30 cal airgun since they buck the wind better.

I shoot water bottles at a hundred yards with 7x power and I have no problem seeing it at all. 10x power is a good mag too you should have no problem seeing a pop can. If I recall correctly in one of teds videos he is shooting beer cans at 170 yards with 10x mag.
