Rookie mistake I think....I need some help!

Hey Guys,So recently I purchased a Hawke Vantage SF 6-24 scope and the Beeman 5030H 1″ rings to go on my Discovery.I KNOW this is a lot of scope for this gun but I wanted to buy a nice scope before I bought a nicer gun. Now here is my issue:I can’t adjust the vertical turret down far enough to zero the gun on the cross hairs. I am zeroed at a 2 mil-dot holdover at 30 yards.Is this something that can be fixed by buying shorter scope rings? Or did I just buy way too much scope for the gun?

get with Mac1 airguns he has rings you'll need.talk to him and tell him your story.he'll help you.

Fx no limits adjustable rings will allow you to zero pretty much as far as the rifle can shoot.

I agree. I have FX No Limits rings on both of my PCP's. I got mine from AOA, but I'm sure you can get them elsewhere.

Put a small piece of electrical tape on the front ring bottom of the ring between the scope and ring. Cheaper than new rings and you may not need to do this on the new gun when you upgrade.

Thanks guys! I think I will just get the FX no limits Mounts because I'm sure I will need them when I buy an FX Boss, Impact or Bobcat
