I used a protektor bag on the rest. Been awhile so can’t give you a number. Sorry. Also, Did you happen to order the speed screw for the rear leg ? Very handy.

I use a Caldwell Br Rock front rest, and a leather rear rest. Perfect for light bench work.

Old thread, but just wanted to recommend the Bald Eagle rest with windage modification. 30 minutes to remove the cable and install the handle.

I have the Bald Eagle and the Caldwell rest. I like both. I use the Bald Eagle for center fire and rimfire shooting. I use the Caldwell for air gun. They are a bargain, at their price.

Definitely! Not as absolute as a super solid benchrest setup but for fun, semi-serious shooting, it's stable enough for me to do quarter-sized groups at 75+ yards.

I had a Bald Eagle then a Randolph. IMO, bull pups don't work too well with mechanical rests. A good sandbag like Bud's Bulls Bag might be better .

Bald Eagle Windage Rest! Clever people cut that spring connector and put that nice knurled aluminum knob on the left (free hand side). Much nicer.
