Raw HM1000X and Your Sling set-up

Hello,

If you own a RAW HM1000X, and are using a sling to carry it in the field, what sling set-up are you using? My ordered RAW HM1000X will have the accessory rail added but plan on using that for my Atlas Bipod . . . but still would like to add a sling. Any suggestions on what I need to do to make use of a sling?

If you have the factory installed Euro rail then you can use the optional sling kit. As for the rear? Who wants to drill a hole in that beautiful stock???

You can see there is just enough room on the rail for both.

I suppose there isn't a sling out there with loops front and rear that could be used . . . or perhaps a sling with just a rear loop that could be positioned around the rear end of the stock, with the front attaching to the adapter you mentioned. I too don't want to drill the stock. Maybe Martin would do that if requested?

Fred there are slings that just tie on. Just have to do some searching. As for who drills and screws a stud in I don't think it matters the end result is the same. If I opt for one I will do it myself. You could ask Martin for the exact location he uses if you want to keep it the way it would have come from the factory if you had ordered that option.
