Pulsar electronic firing not working

My friend just bought a new pulsar.
In The box was daystate quality paper with the shooting test.
So he filled the gun with air load the magazine squeeze the triger and nothing happens. No shot.
Going through the menu is working perfectly and all can be adjusted, power laser...
The problem is we cant fire.
The gun shot one time after squeezing the trigger multiple times in a row.

Any help would be appreciated.
Such an expensive gun you would expect it to work flawlesly out of the box.

Is the safety off? Have you pulled the side lever back and slid it forwards? Have you tried fresh batteries??

sorry if these sound too obvious but they are all things to check first off.

Fresh batteries. Safety and side lever all checked. I dont wanna take it appart as we bought it yesterday i ll definitaly return it

How odd. Have you checked through the manual to make sure there isn't anything you should be doing?

I agree with Ben10 it could be something that you are over looking. Just call your distributor whom you bought it from and have them walk you through it.

Check the magazine counter is not on and you have reached shot 10. Tbis has caught a few out. Change tge magazine and it will reset or go to program mode to switch off.

"The gun shot one time after squeezing the trigger multiple times in a row " and that cycled the magazine down to 9 correctly.
It's now back to the dealer to check it out.

the dealer was very kind and replaced the gun with a new one.
by the way does anyone knows if the barrel on the pulsar is the same one used on the wolverine ?

Yes and no. A Pulsar barrel will fit a Wolverine but not visa versa. Eventually they will be the same. There are some upgrades on the pulsar barrel which will in time move across to the wolverine.

The pulsars' electronics are packed into what is quite a small area as they fit in a waterproof box. In addition we have some European regulations restricting voltage which further effects output. Improvements to the design have helped, but nevertheless it tops out at 35 foot pounds in. 22 with a 21 grain pellet.

So it comes down to pellet weight. The heavier the pellet the greater yer the energy. Use a 36 grain Dynamic and you will get closer.

But there are ongoing developments, so who knows what may happen in the future!
