Ok guys, have a prod that was super accurate, well I had it in my shed over the summer and got busy with work and forgot about it. It got rusty so I disassembled it to clean it up, reassembled it and now it just sprays pellets everywhere. Anyone give me an idea as to what is amiss with it? Thanks in advance, Jamie.

Do you have a chrony to check consistency? If the shots are consistent then I would say your valve/air tube is fine. The barrel may be pitted up and leading as you shoot. Try some jb bore polishing paste and see if that helps. If not a new barrel is pretty cheap through crosman. Just need to look up the part number before calling them.

It’s very possible to be a dried-out and damaged o ring/seal.
Check the transfer port seal and the o ring at the breech for leaks.
Check to see that the hammer and the tube are clean and smooth.

Finally had some time to work on it today during the storm. Thought I had it all worked out, was shooting around 575-595 pretty consistent, so I reattach the rai and buttstock reattach the scope and put it on paper to see if it was still spraying pellets, it wasn't but on about mag 8 with a fresh fill all of the sudden there is a noticeable power drop, both in sound and on target. So now I'm stumped again, any thoughts? Thanks Jamie

I would check for leaks,did you use new seals?Another thing;Maybe rust got in the air tube and particles are blocking air ....

Yea I've been tinkering with it, getting better at disassembling it for sure. I'm just going to do a complete rebuild on it this winter when my work slows down. Thanks for the help.
