Benjamin Probably my best Non regulated Marauder pistol tune.

A friend that was having some issues with his refrigerator asked me to come up and give him a second opinion on his KitchenAid insert.

Long story short, first guy said it needed a compressor. I looked and found a simple leak, repaired it, evacuated and recharged the system. Been running great, saved him $2200.

While I was up there he said the marauder pistol I convinced him to buy (6 or 7 years ago) wasn't taking a fill anymore. Seeing it had been a long time since I've done a simple tune installing a Bstaley mod to the gun with a transfer port drilled out to match valve exhaust.

I figured I wouldnt do any valve porting. I swapped the hammer spring by boring the spring hole diameter out to 8mm so I could fit a slightly stronger hammer spring. I increased hammer stroke by a little over 1/8", I stalled two Bstaley orings, backed the HS out counter clockwise to be recessed as much as possible. Shot a string with 30 shots with an ES of 35 around 16fpe w/ 14.3.

The top of the curve was around 2100psi, I increased the hammer spring preload by 1.5 clockwise and refilled to 3000psi.

14.3gr CPHP
17fpe Avg
Low 711.5
High 753.2
32 shots
3000psi to 1800psi.

Im pretty pleased, I know the ES is not the tightest. For my friend this is a 10-25y ground squirrel garden gun.
