I got my new scope in for FT a couple months ago and now that the weather is starting to get nice I want to setup my sidewheel. Does anyone here have a preferred, durable/weather resistant tape to wrap on my wheel to write ranges on?

Prefered tape for parallax wheel

White duct tape as the marking surface if you’re using a 3D printed wheel.
Then, a strip of clear Gorilla tape over that to protect you ranges. Make the clear tape a little longer on both ends to ensure the tape you so carefully crafted with your range markings do not accidentally lift up and pull away.
I’ve seen packing tape and even scotch tape used as a protectant but they don’t stick nearly as well as the clear Gorilla tape.

I used waterproof first-aid tape (not the cloth kind), which has a sort of satin finish to the tape. Some of the shinier tape, like electrical, takes forever for the ink to dry so it smears easily.
A very fine point sharpie..the lines can get pretty close together. Also a small square helps keep everything neat and parallel, along with clear, neat numbers..
