It's hard to believe there's still V1 Vets left . If I didn't already have 2 .

Could be the flatter annodizing and there is oil on them to make them shine for the photos. It looks smeared or not fully coated on the edges of the brackets that hold the barrel and tube together. Not as shiney in the hard to reach places.

If you call Tony at Talon Tunes he will give you straight answers on the finish. He's great to dreal with when it comes to sales and customer service . Best in the Biz . I doubt there anything wrong with the finish just lube and camera exposure. He won't sell damaged goods.

Those original Veterans are the best "field" air rifles ever made. They will be sorely missed when they are gone. I am fortunate to have one each, in 177, 22, and 25.

I also bought a spare stock.
