They are illegal in NJ UNLESS YOU HAVE A LICENSE NO ONE WOULD OPEN A STORE WITH THOSE RESTRICTIONS YOU MIGHT FIND ONE IN PA OR OH NONE IN NY EITHER

NJ classifies airguns as firearms requiring an FFL license to sell and an FDI to buy.
Airguns can be shipped from an owner to out of state and back if it’s going for repairs.
No one will open an airgun only store in NJ. It’s not a good business decision since you have to go through all the paperwork and legal council as if you were opening a firearms shop.

I'm quite aware of NJ 's draconian gun laws and the need to be an FFL. Was just wondering if there where any gun stores that stock and work on air guns.

Years ago, Campmor on Rt. 17 in Paramus had a good supply of air guns and sold them. A search on their site doesn't show anything about the sale of air guns or firearms in general any more. The state's negativity about firearms may have gotten to them.
Ramsey Outdoor Store a few miles north seems to still be selling firearms and air guns may be included.
In reality, as firearms in N.J; an airgun may not be legally allowed to be shot in your own basement or on your property. I know a guy who was shooting his with plenty of land around him in a perfectly safe condition and had the State troopers called on him for shooting a "high powered rifle" by a neighbor just passing by. Luckily, the trooper had some sense and didn't throw the book at him, but being on record, he no longer could shoot the gun.
I personally am an escapee from that dinosaur place

Lucky you. I have 6 yrs till I can retire. Can't wait to move to a "free" state. I wont be shooting in my yard. Just hunting in the woods around my house. I'm in Sussex county.

What Airgun & What Repairs? Cheyenne Mountain Outwitters Sells PCP, Co2, & Springers, Ignore post that Belittle NJ as Anti Airgun, it's one of the few states that legalized small game airgun hunting. Not many states have legalized airgun hunting, I have a residence in NJ, PA, and GA, and NJ is one of my favorite small game Airgun Hunting, big deal, you need an FOID Card, takes 5 minutes to buy an Airgun In NJ. I have a friend who is a retired police captain they refused a full carry permit for him he can only have a hand gun in his home and when he goes to a range it has to be in a locked box in the trunk with no ammo. Now that Jersey has a progressive governor (progressive is a modern word for a socialist/communist) it will become more restrictive. I have a carry license in NY, New Hamshire and Utah that covers me when I travel but when going through NJ I have to put it in the trunk and have written proof my trip destination is not in NJ.

Yup. NJ is a full fledged socialist state. In NJ they do not recognize any 2nd Amendment rights. They only allow you certain privileges when it comes to guns. I retire in 6 years, and can't wait to take every penny of my wealth out of this state. That is of course after I pay NJ's exit tax.

Yes hunting in NJ for small game is allowed with a .177-.22 pellet only and at least 600FPS. The problem I see and come into is most guns even such as a Benjamin Marauder is not allowed since it has a moderator and about 6 yrs ago we outlawed the gamo whisper because of the silencing features. Blah blah.

The pellet shop in NY. 90 minute drive from my house. No showroom but if they have what you want you can legally pick it up and bring it back. Just like buying a bicycle.
