The synthetic is a nice looking rifle, i am seriously considering it but it has a CZ barrel and i already have one of those. I'm yearning for a smooth twist barrel because i don't own one yet, and to mod my cricket would be a pain in the butt.

The first photos of this "Tactic" rifle showed it in the black syntethic stock - which looks great. I spoke to Petr @ TGAG for several months asking when this thing would become available. I was told that the rifle itself had been ready to ship for a couple of months now but Airgun Technology was having a hard time getting the stock made to their liking/specs and that was the hold-up. Finally we start seeing these pop up a couple of weeks ago and they now have the wood (walnut?) stocks - which look hideous to me compared to the black synthetic. My interest in purchasing this rifle has decreased considerably with this stock; I have a great functioning .25 Vulcan bullpup already anyways.

I feel there is a market for "carbine" size bull pups (like my bobcat) that in my opinion are the perfect size ie. Not too small

Whether they are trying to get out the dings and dents in the USA. I'm sure some are floating around in different countries just fine.

Synthetic looks better then the walnut version, but think if they made a walnut version with stainless receiver,barrel, etc.
