New Arrival Kalibrgun .22 Cricket Carbine Mini

@jorgemac - my comments are specific to this gun. For all out stealth, DonnyFL sumo around 60dB I measured. For shortest, lightest with acceptable level of sound Huggett Belita, which measured just 3dB more iirc from my measurements. I use the sumo for early 6am shooting. I did not have a POI shift with either and I did not experience a change in accuracy vs naked with the limited number of shots during measured testing.

"Mick-VA"I do have a new scope on the way that I want to try out on the mini. Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 FFP Mil / Mil 2-10x32 mm. Got it for my Taipan Shorty but will give it a spin on the mini Carbine too just for fun.

Hey Mick, awesome rifle, hope it’s still performing well, how do you like the vortex scope, I’m interested in one, looks like serious kit?

The Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 FFP Mil / Mil 2-10×32 mm is an excellent compact optic that works well on many smaller platforms. I’ve used it on the cricket carbine mini an EdGun Leshiy and it is now on my Taipan Veteran shorty. The glass is top notch and clear and even though only 10x max, can see clearly enough with razor sharp detail to support shooting 1.25 inch steel spinners at 118 yards. I think the turrets are outstanding with very audible and tactile clicks that are accurate and repeatable. I have both the gen 1 and 2 versions of this scope and love them.

The EBR4 reticle on the gen2 2-10x32 is awesome. Being FFP, the Mil subtensions are correct at any magnification. Notice that they have 10 Mils which for most full power airguns will get you out to 150-160 yards. I typically use hold overs for hunting when quick acquisition is needed. For target I prefer dialing on the great turrets. When dialing the center of the reticle is very fine .

The gen II 2-10x32mm was my first Vortex. Then picked up the gen1 version of same magnification and then the 3-15x44 and 5-25x50. All in FFP Mil/Mil. Gen 2 on Taipan Shorty. gen1 on Leshiy. 5-25 on RAW gray LRT and 3-15 on RAW forest thumbhole.
