Hey all,
I've decided to get back into an airgun for general pest control (squirrels and starlings). I have a .177 Gamo hunter sport. I can't seem to get the Gamo to do much of anything that isn't a shotgun blast pattern at 20 yards and I figure it's time to spend some money to get something better.
I was initially looking at a .22, but ran into the following at my local Cabelas.
http://www.cabelas.com/product/GAMO-TAC-WHISPER-CAL/2420467.uts
It appears to be a made for Cabelas model. Can anyone commend on if it's worth exploring? If not, what would you recommend? I would be prepared to be in the $300-$400 range with scope if the extra money buys a lot more quality. Please let me know if you can help. I'm open for less headaches than what I've had with my current Gamo.
Thank you
