Nice rifles! The stock on the Marauder looks like the guy in Dodge City made it-is it an ultralight? Looks like you're planning to cook the 'chuck, are they good eating?

What is your opinion on the .308 big bore? I'm thinking of getting a .257 extreme big bore and I'm not sure about the high pressures these guns work off. I'm wondering if the high pressures needed will be a big disadvantage.

good eating for two goshawks my buddy is a master falconer, the meat from ghogs causes the hawks to molt sooner, so less chance of breaking a tail feather when they start to hunt

the big bores do use lots of air. i get 3 to 4 shots per fill. but i'm a commercial diver and have plenty of scuba tanks.

bought it a buddy who bought in from someone on another forum. made from balsa wood. weighs about a pound less than the stock. ive seen another one for sale so I do know it wasnt a one off

I have a friend who has been into Falconry his entire life...as was his father and grandfather.
They require a lot of care, when I think of all the work my friend does with them. Which makes it more than a sport or hobby IMO its a lifestyle for for my friends family.
Its a truly impressive bond the bird has with the owner/handler.

my buddy is taxidermist by trade, his mews are behind his shop which is behind his house. I know what you mean by the amount of time and work it takes.
