My first loves just returned to me,they have been sitting around

unused and forgotten for many, many years. All had the same name,Daisy.Oh yea BB guns!!

Just got a new model 499 and remembered I had a lot more BB guns ....somewhere,started looking and before I knew it had a herd of them.

Some were old ,some shot ,some didn't ;got my mind working to when and where I got them all, forgetabout it...

What I am going ,showing some love to my old discarded BB guns.

Ordered some new parts......and new Hop Up parts.....LOL,,,,like wow I can get the speed of BB up to 350fps or more,oh yea.

Fun,and restoring and making things better, yes we did talk about it earlier, some of these old BB guns are "keepsakes" for me and fixing them is Cheap and not at all time consuming.....another good thing about it ?Yes glad you asked......no matter what I do to them,no matter how inaccurate they are,I still love them for what they are.

A simpler way of life for now,hey I still have my shooter marble!

Nothing like a great walk down memory lane. I'm here on the forum today and am an airgunner because my older brothers gave me my first bb gun for Christmas when I was 6. 10 pump crosman. I feel like it was a lot more accurate then for some reason. I used to shoot icicles off the eaves in winter. I recently went and bought a new one to take my own walk down memory lane and was amazed to actually see the unpredictable curve of the bb's trajectory as it came out of the barrel. I don't remember that as a child, maybe they were better / more accurate 35ish years ago. I once shot an old bowling ball and the bb bounced straight back and hit me directly in the thigh. Man, that stung lol. It sits in a corner of the closet now but still was fun to play with one again.

Thanks for sharing and enjoy in good health!

Thanks Cliff,I will never forget my first encounter with a BB gun,I was about5-6 yo and some "big" guys were shooting one and I could not understand how "they" got the little tin car hanging from the tree to move.....like there was no wind to blow it.

The "big "guy took the time to show me how he did it,showed me the BBs ,then let me hold and shoot the rifle..

I had to wait another 6years or so before I could get my own BB gun,and a year after that, my first .22, a pump Remington 121...

I just got my rebuild kits today, need to make a tool to push the new "high" power spring back into the Daisy.

A bit "tongue in cheek" because the goal is Fun,and sometimes need to put all that completed stuff to the side for a while and go back to "fun".
