Miss My PCPs

Bowwild,
If it wasn't for the Yong Heng, think I'd be in the same boat. Couldn't afford the big buck compressor and with hand pumping killing any enjoyment of air gunning, I'd considered giving up, too. Thank goodness Biohazardman took the time to share his findings on a reliable, affordable alternative. WM

I sold off all my PCPs a year ago. I just got so fed up with undependable and very expensive air compressor.

This is the time of year I really liked to shoot them.

Miss the Steyers the most.
Well, since I bought one of your Steyr's, I feel your pain, even if it was my gain!

I absolutely love my PCPs. I dropped money on an Air Venturi compressor from Pyramid Air two years + years ago and haven't looked back since/

Air supply the 600# gorilla in the PCP room.
I have been down the big bottle road then the small compressor road.
I am currently waiting for my Nomad II to come back from the factory. Never trust it again.
Then I looked at the big boy compressors. I can fill a lot of bottles for the cost of a $3K compressor.
Next buy is another big bottle. Keep two full at all times And done.

Invested in a Alkin last year and two Great White tanks. Best investments I have ever made. The Alkin can take both from 3000 PSI to 4500 in about 25 minutes total, with dry air. And even as much as I shoot, that gets me six weeks to two months between compressor cycles most of the time.

Yes, it costs but was definitely worth it. Can’t say enough about how great the Alkin team was to work with, before and after the sale.
