Spotted a jack rabbit munching in the front yard tonight during the near full moon. Slid open a window a little and grabbed my Cricket 22 loaded with 27 gr nsa slugs. There wasn't enough light to see the retical clearly but enough for the Hawke to see it clearly. Took a guess at 20 yards sight picture and dropped it like a stone. That was the first night shot and the first kill with an NSA slug. I had tried shooting the NSA boat tail slugs in the Cricket with out success and just got the 27gr slugs and have only been shooting them a couple of weeks at paper. My Cricket loves them at 28 & 65 yard targets. Other jacks with the 18.1 pellets have always required a second kill shot.
