The trigger sears are the same but the body is not. FX has all of the diagrams up for anyone to view so one need only look up the part number to see if they are the same.

Thanks, didn’t think to go back and check that site. I wish FX would square off the X1-13 sheer. I think the angle cut is why the trigger has the funny release that can hold the trigger back if you release and don’t fire with a very light setting. Would be a very crisp trigger then. OMO

Continuing on this topic, pacifically the trigger shear part number 19636. I believe the tapered angle on the break end is what causes the trigger to not return if you don’t fire and have a very light setting. Something about this taper prevents the trigger from returning because of the load between the seer and the release ball. I believe if this sear had a square cut end The release would be sharper, cleaner and would not have this return problem.
If any of the others out there are gunsmiths I wouldn’t mind having your opinion.
