Late season fat doe down!

Took a really nice buck during bow season this year and finally got a shot on a deer in late muzzle loader season! Yes all fire arms are legal in my area this year during muzzle loader! My shortened barreled carbine Piledriver .45 shooting 255 grain Mr. Hollow points.

4 1/2 year old bully on the block!
He's been a 6 point 3 years in a row and decided it was his time! He was a fighter! 17" inside spread and field dressed at 182 pounds! First year with a cross bow. Took him right through the ticker at 40 yards. Retired my Hoyt to my little brothers hands!

Yeah I do my homework!
The three girl friends he was chasing was his demise. I passed on a couple nice 3 1/2 year old 8 points hopping to get a shot on him! Saw a really big 10 too that we didn't even have on camera. Never came in range!
This one will be on the list for next year!

Last white tailed deer I took I had to do all the post kill work by myself alone. It is hard...... You are temped to say " well ok, go away .... I will look for a rabbit!"
