Can to can? I have some 25 cal Kings with similar variance in the same can. They seem to shoot well and I get to blame the pellets when I miss.
Yes there was a distinct difference from one can to another. That's the reason I didn't notice until I opened the second can.
Someone mentioned they get tested before leaving the factory, but I don't care what kind of test you run, if they are visibly different, then there is a change. Bullets, pellets, should always be the same for accuracy. Just because the change doesn't affect the poi of the guns the factory tests with doesn't mean it won't affect all the other guns out there.
Another comment was to compare Gamo to JSB. I don't expect variance in my high end pellets just because there are cheaper, worse pellets out there.

Yes, I was a little concerned when I saw the variation in that tin. But 20 to 40 yards represents 95% of my shooting and the variation is not such a big deal. If I shot 100 yards I would sort the pellets. That said, I roasted a crow at 60 yards out of the top of a pine tree this afternoon. Opened a new tin from the same sleeve and found same variation. Bought these pellets two years ago so current production may be improved.
