I personally wouldn't have started with high-end guns(edgun, cricket) even though I do want a WAR warp .I have really enjoyed all the hatsans I've owned far more than the expensive guns I've had.The accuracy difference between my hatsans vs the edgun/cricket was unnoticeable.There was a quality difference but man my hatsans we're built like tanks .I currently have a refurbished .22 nova I'm totally loving.I spent $504.99 on her and don't regret a penny of it.I can put cf bottle and a regulator on her and still be 500$ less than the edgun I purchased used.
So for me start with hatsans and my shoebox with plans on a warp one day.

Hind sight is 20/20, I wish I would have gone straight to a couple of Steyr rifles & one pistol, in both PCP & powder burners! The Omega compressor and bottle was a good move from the start.

I did it right except for the Hatsan95. Weirauch HW50S .177, with an FX Crown .177 in green laminate on the way. Cry once . My time is better spent shooting
