OK I have the benjiman trail np xl 1100 with the lousy trigger. I decided on the bearing fix and really have a sweet trigger pull now. Problem is in my trying different bearings, 5x8x2.5mm, 5x9x3mm and 5x10x3mm I tried the 10 mm first, "WRONG" After installing I cocked the gun and did not hold the barrel, SLAM barrel slammed closed !! Well obviously that was the wrong one I needed a smaller bearing. I installed the 5x9x3mm bearing and boy O boy what a sweet trigger. .A couple of days later I took my gun with the sweet trigger pull out to plink a little. DADGUM shot 2 feet high and 6" or so to the right. Seems the slamming had done some damage. I contacted one of the better airgun smiths and was told three methiods for repair. #! tape the lower scope ring shimming the scope up. #2 bend the barrel and #3 replace the barrel. NOW has anyone here ever replaced the barrel on a Benjiman trail np xl ??? If so how is it done ?? What do I need to watch for the do's and don'ts. Any help will be appreciated.
