I Just toured the FX USA distribution Center and interviewed them

I am writing an article on the FX distribution center while I picked up the FX donation rifle for the 2018 AAFTA Nationals. Our club is hosting the nationals again this year in North carolina. I live 20 minutes from the facility In Wilmington NC.

I interviewed Johnathan Elvegaard-Tueller, the man heading up the team at FX USA for an article in Airgun Hobbyist magazine.

I just wanted to offer my opinion of their setup and mission statement.

They are working hard at being able to supply FX products to the retailer faster than in the past.

John was impressive with his desire to make this work here. The FX facility is located on the East Coast in order to take advantage of the time zones to distribute products. The West coast would not make that easy and they take advantage of the 3 hour difference.

Earnest Rowe is heading up their repair and tuning department. They will be repairing and tuning other manufacturers air guns as well. Not just FX!

When I asked, John did tell me that the purpose of this facility was to help alleviate the delay getting guns to the retailers.

Look for the article in Air Gun Hobbyist magazine in the near future.

FX donated this beautiful Crown for the Nationals!

Buckeye,

It was a blast! Johnathan gave me unfettered access to the facility. All the employees were super nice. One was even from my town outside Wilmington. Neighbors!

They have a 25 yard inside range and plans for a 100 yard indoor testing range. They are working on testing assorted caliber slugs to find the best that will be the most accurate in their barrels.

Ernest and his team we're working on an FX Revolution while I was there.

Johnathon took over an hour and a half showing me the operation, and discussing FX. Very inpressive guy!

They get the rifles in from Sweden, and then test them to be sure there are no leaks, and other issues with the guns from shipping. When he gave me the Crown, he opened the case and had to remove a piece of painters tape from the air gauge. It was there to detect any leak down before shipping.

He then showed me how the barrel sleeve is removed and changed, as well as caliber. I think a Crown might be in my future. I will definitly buy a $20 ticket for this one at our Nationals raffle! The black pepper stock is beautiful...
