The worst part is it seems FX is always running late. I ordered a blue one, and I don't even know if it will ever be produced. Just saw it on some gun show videos.

Try waiting for a Umerex Gauntlet since last year only to find out it was pushed back from May to August.

John, They said end of Jun beginning of July. I ordered an impact last October and was susposed to be in in December but never made it so im just hoping that doesn't happen again.

I waited 5 mo. back in 15 for a mk2, bobcat -when tracking said it made it to kc friday -I was working less than a mile from that office down town,-end of the phone call sounded like this -Ok let me get this straight you want me to find witch train car its in and then find it, and give it to you, and if I,m to busy you'd be glad to help look- NO !!! click

It is sort of like having a baby. If you're not the one carrying it, the nine month wait doesn't matter! But in my opinion, waiting over 9 months for an airgun with unknown attributes is a bit inane. After all, there are a lot of airgun makes and models in stock all over the US, begging to be bought.

Been waiting on the gauntlet as well. Ive been into pcps for about 2 months now and im beyond addicted already. May squeeze the trigger on something else in the meantime though

Alan I thought about that same thing. But the crown is something new and im pretty sure that fx will knock it out of the park. But I was thinking why not buy something that has been out for a while and proven itself and not have to wait but im sure it will be worth the wait.

Yep I wanted a Benjamin Marauder field and Target Edition then they decided not to make it at all. I don't understand why they made a big deal out of it at the shop show then. Anyway good luck everybody getting your guns I can appreciate and understand your apprehension and excitement all at the same time

So I went to A.O.A. to check on the status of my fx crow and looks like the release date has been delayed again. I just didn't feel like waiting any longer so I walked out with a impact .25
another thing that helped change my mind was they said that the new crown is going to be released with the standard smooth twist barrel insert and then later I could purchase the smooth twist x insert.

Not good...... Perhaps they are ironing out some issues. Also not to excited about the barrel release. I may have to cancel if they keep fooling around with it. Going to be expensive to change calibers also.
