Huma Dual transfer port

So i just wanted to show the difference between at Stock pellet probe and a modifyed and a pin probe.

i Can see some people are not getting any FPS gain with the HUMA dual transfer port.

if you install the huma TP without modifying the pellet probe you Will not gain any fps, you have to open up the probe so that there are no restrictions.



you Can even open the huma transfer port even more for maximum power,

the TP in the block is 7mm so if you open up the huma TP to 7x7mm you have maximum airflow.

I picked up 75 fps on my factory single port (ported by me) and port matched probe. On factory tune. 700mm barrel. 380mm picked up 50fps

How do you get the pin probes? I shoot single shot, so they should work well in my setup.

Spyde82, does your pin probe seat a pellet at deep as the other two? I made one and it had to be longer to seat the pellet just as deep or the other factory length probe but then it protruded just enough into the magazine well. that a magazine wouldn't work. I modified my sst so that it did would work. I normally use just a modified factory probe though anyway. Oh and by the way nice work and great photos. Thanks for sharing.

yes they are 1mm longer so it seats the lighter pellets aswell, no problem with seating or with magasin clearence.

On my 25 cal the single pin probe I could not make it work, that 1mm longerm pin (to push the pellets all the way to the end) not a mag neither the single loader won't fit.

I put the single pin aside for later time if I decide to go with flat bottom slugs, meaning I will need to remove that 1mm from the pin length.

Using for now the FX probe elongated with the Huma dual port.

I use it with both slugs and pellet without any problems.

it has to be just right to work with the magasin.

2 make It work for me is to cock all the way back on holding it there then slide mag in place then let go of the the cock handle. This method gives you at least 2mm to push pellet deeper in the liner.

So a FX isn’t sensitive to how far a pellet is seated into the liner? I know it’s not much of a difference but the cup in the waist of a 18.1 is more shallow than a 15.89. With slugs and a standard barrel and leade, those couple millimeters can make or break accuracy. Maybe pellets don’t mind. Just curious before I go down this road.

bigHUN, what SST are you trying to use? Mine wouldn't work either till I modified it.

I shot 26 to 40gr slugs in my Impact 22 Caliber with slug liner......zero issues with accuracy.

If you take a 16gr jsb and messure the skirt it is 1mm deep, so acturly all other pellets/slugs are seated deeper with the pin probe.

i have no problems with accurcy or unconsistency.



this is my groups at 70m with JSB KOs slugs 

shooting them at 1010fps out of a pellet liner 

reg set at 115bar powerweel set on 5, 25,6gr shooting 1010fps

Interesting thread, especially shopping for new PCP. Are these techniques, mods applicable to any rifle with a Huma regulator? And is there an online reference that shows how these parts all work together - Maybe some sort of exploded schematic view?

These particular bolt on parts are tailored for the FX liner system.
