how to uncock decock a daystate wolverine r

while holding the cocking lever back / then squeeze the trigger. when i ease the lever forward the rifle will fire. is my rifle broke?

The new ones do not decock.

Like ehh wrote above. The new ones don't decock nothing wrong with your rifle if it is the new model. I always fire before putting mine away.

Yes correct you cant de-cock a Wolverine R, Just get into the habit of a safe postion with the muzzle and checking the trigger.

Is something that we need to keep in mind: This one can not be decocked. 

I do not know why Daystate made this one with this disadvantage.

My Wolverine R is only about 1 1/2 years old and I can decock it in the normal fashion.

I have noticed on a new Regal I just aquired that if you don't hold the bolt back firmly against the hammer it will fire when trying to decock it. I always pull back all the way with the Wolverine so maybe it had the same quirk. I can't check it now, sold it to my son.

In talking to an AOA employee, I got the impression that this is a recent change. In fact, he didn't know about it until checking with one of the techs.
