How to fit FX chronograph to the barrel ?

What is your method to fit it cheap and easy to your barrel ?

I have an FX Impact Mk2 700mm .30 with Sumo silencer.

Just posted about this. Easy yes. Cheap... $35 plus shipping. And better yet, doesn’t add more weight to the end of the barrel!

Flip the two tangs out and use a very long rubber band and attach it directly to the barrel. No cost at all and in my case works very well. Make sure the alignment is good the face of the chrono is perpendicular to the pellet trajectory and play around a bit how far back the chrono needs to sit under the barrel to get good repeatable shots. Use the feedback number you get each shot to fine tune.

FYI

I'm currently using a mount made by Steve Allen in the UK.

There has been no POI shift when shroud, barrel, or ldc mounted
